The Palau de la Música Catalana, situated in Calle de Sant Pere Mes Alt in Barcelona, is a concert hall designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner (1850-1923), which was opened in 1908. Its interior seems like a continuous sculpture, in which groups such as 'The Valkyries' or the spectacular zenithal stained glass window by Rigalt i Granell stand out. The Hospital of Sant Pau, in Calle Sant Antoni María Claret, is a project from 1901, which obtained the Barcelona City Council Prize in 1913. The initial project included the construction of 48 pavilions, although in the end only 27 were built. This work was very difficult to build, a fact reflected in the time it took to complete it (from 1901 to 1930). The administration pavilion and the impressive church are outstanding.
